About me

I’m Eljana. In my small salon in The Hague I cut and colour hair for women and children, one client at a time.

From Athens to The Hague

I grew up in Athens, above my aunt’s hair salon. After school I swept her floor and watched her work. At sixteen I was allowed to blow-dry for the first time, and I’ve never wanted to do anything else since.

After my training I worked for six years in a busy salon in Ljubljana. There I learned Slovenian, colour techniques like balayage, and above all how important it is to listen before you pick up the scissors.

When I moved to The Hague, I started with a few clients at home. That list kept growing, and so I opened my own salon: a quiet place with one chair, good coffee and all the time in the world for you.

What to expect

  1. 1

    All my attention on you

There is only one chair. No bustle, no rush and no other clients waiting next to you.

  2. 2

    We look together first

We look at your hair, and at the photo if you bring one. I’ll tell you honestly what’s possible and what suits you.

  3. 3

    No surprises

Before I start, you know what it costs. So nothing catches you off guard when you pay.

  4. 4

    Coffee or tea

It’s ready for you. Feel free to sit a little longer once your hair is done.

My languages

  • Greek
  • Slovenian
  • English
  • I’m still learning Dutch

Feel free to bring a photo of the hair you want. That way we always understand each other, whatever the language.

I look forward to meeting you.
